ENgreen’s solutions will make it possible to target a plant pathogen for which there is no treatment, Xylella fastidiosa, which is destroying vines and olive trees. In animal health, ENgreen plans to use its solutions to protect animals from the avian influenza virus, which, because of its speed of evolution, requires flexible and constantly updated means of defense.

EVs can penetrate specific tissues and deliver bioactive compounds to the very ‘organs’ affected by pathogens. Targeting is precise and optimal.

EVs are stable and can be lyophilized, which makes them easier to store and use, therefore guaranteeing the maintenance of their integrity over time.

Plants and animals interact with these particles constantly because they are present in the environment and in food, for instance. EVs can therefore be administered safely even at high concentrations.

Vesicles resulting from the cultivation of plants and microalgae can be recovered. This guarantees high production efficiency at low cost and enables a virtuous production cycle to be established.
