AgriDée talks about us: ENgreen, the One Health startup

Author: Marie-Cécile DAMAVE, Head of Innovations and International Affairs
At the heart of the One Health approach, the young company ENgreen is developing new therapeutic means in plant and animal health using innovative vectors - extracellular vesicles - which are common to all living beings, from the simplest (bacteria) to the most complex (mammals such as humans). These vesicles are capable of transporting, without degrading them, various types of active ingredients (peptides, RNA, etc.) to target cells in preventive (vaccines) or curative medicine. These extracellular vesicles can be produced in particular by chlorella (microalgae) in a photobioreactor, and be administered in the form of a food supplement in animals for example, or in the form of seed coating in plants.
